How To Pick The Right Soccer BallThe quality of a soccer ball generally depends on the materials and the methods used in construction. Basic balls are generally machine stitched and can sometimes have slight irregularities in the shape. The ball covering is usually made of PVC material and bladders are usually made of butyl. Better balls will use a covering that is a blend of PVC and PU materials. Some of these balls are hand stitched. The best soccer balls are hand stiched. They use a covering made of PU material that provides the player with a better "grip" on the ball and deforms less when kicked. Often, a foam or cell-foam liner is used to improve the rebound characteristics and give the ball a faster and more accurate flight. Latex rubber is used for the bladder to make the ball softer. |
